Du'as for Gratitude
Gratitude in the Sunnah is itself something to ask Allah for — the Prophet ﷺ taught Mu'adh, out of love for him, to ask for help in remembering Allah, thanking Him, and worshipping Him well. The Quran shows Sulayman making the same request when a favour reaches him.

- Abu Dawud 1522
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrik, wa shukrik, wa husni 'ibadatik.
“O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You well.”
The Prophet ﷺ took Mu'adh by the hand, told him he loved him, and taught him to say this after every prayer.

- Surah An-Naml 27:19
فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكٗا مِّن قَوۡلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوۡزِعۡنِيٓ أَنۡ أَشۡكُرَ نِعۡمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَيَّ وَأَنۡ أَعۡمَلَ صَٰلِحٗا تَرۡضَىٰهُ وَأَدۡخِلۡنِي بِرَحۡمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
Rabbi awzi'ni an ashkura ni'matakal-lati an'amta 'alayya wa 'ala walidayya wa an a'mala salihan tardah.
“And (Solomon) smiled, laughing at her speech, and said: My Lord, arouse me to be thankful for Thy favour wherewith Thou hast favoured me and my parents, and to do good that shall be pleasing unto Thee, and include me in (the number of) Thy righteous slaves”
Sulayman's du'a on being given understanding — asking to be enabled to be grateful.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ
Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi bini'matihi tatimmus-salihat.
“All praise is for Allah, by whose favour good things are completed.”
Said on receiving something that pleases you.
