Du'a for Rain
Rain is treated in the Sunnah as a moment of mercy descending, not just weather. The Prophet ﷺ had a short du'a for when it fell — asking that it be beneficial — and a fuller du'a for when it did not, asking for a rain that relieves and revives without causing harm.

اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
Allahumma sayyiban nafi'a.
“O Allah, [make it] a beneficial downpour.”
Said when rain begins to fall.

Allahummasqina ghaythan mughithan mari'an mari'an, nafi'an ghayra darrin, 'ajilan ghayra ajil.
“O Allah, give us a rain that relieves, wholesome and fertile, beneficial and not harmful, coming soon and not delayed.”
Said asking for rain in a time of drought.
