Verses
تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish
111:1مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
His wealth and gains will not exempt him
111:2سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
He will be plunged in flaming Fire
111:3وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
And his wife, the wood-carrier
111:4فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre
