Verses

  1. تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ

    The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish

    111:1
  2. مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ

    His wealth and gains will not exempt him

    111:2
  3. سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ

    He will be plunged in flaming Fire

    111:3
  4. وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ

    And his wife, the wood-carrier

    111:4
  5. فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ

    Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre

    111:5
