Al-Fattah — The Opener, the Judge

Al-Fattah joins two senses that Arabic keeps together: to open, and to judge between disputing parties. So the name describes the One who opens what is closed — hearts, provision, ways out of difficulty — and who decides between people with a judgement no one can appeal. Classical scholars connect the two: a just decision opens what was deadlocked. The Quran pairs it with knowledge in 34:26, since only the One who knows everything can judge rightly.
