Al-Jami' — The Gatherer
Al-Jami' is the One who gathers — bringing together all people on a Day about which there is no doubt (3:9), and joining what is scattered in creation. The name also carries the sense of gathering hearts, provision, and separated things. Classical scholars connect it to the resurrection especially: bodies dispersed to dust across the earth and centuries are collected by the One who never loses track of any of them. Nothing is too scattered for Al-Jami' to reassemble.
