Verses

  1. أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ

    Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you

    102:1
  2. حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ

    Until ye come to the graves

    102:2
  3. كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

    Nay, but ye will come to know

    102:3
  4. ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

    Nay, but ye will come to know

    102:4
  5. كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

    Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge

    102:5
  6. لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ

    For ye will behold hell-fire

    102:6
  7. ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

    Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision

    102:7
  8. ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

    Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure

    102:8
