Al-Quddus — The Most Holy
Al-Quddus is the One utterly free of every defect, need, and imperfection that attaches to created things. The root carries the sense of purity and of being set apart, so the name affirms both that Allah is untouched by any flaw and that nothing in creation resembles Him. Classical scholars connect it to the Quran's insistence that He is beyond what people ascribe to Him. To call Allah Al-Quddus is to deny of Him every weakness the mind might imagine.

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَٰمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُ ٱلۡمُهَيۡمِنُ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡجَبَّارُ ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرُۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ
He is Allah, than Whom there is no other Allah, the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One, Peace, the Keeper of Faith, the Guardian, the Majestic, the Compeller, the Superb. Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)
