Verses

  1. أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ

    Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant

    105:1
  2. أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ

    Did He not bring their stratagem to naught

    105:2
  3. وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ

    And send against them swarms of flying creatures

    105:3
  4. تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ

    Which pelted them with stones of baked clay

    105:4
  5. فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفٖ مَّأۡكُولِۭ

    And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle)

    105:5
